Protecting files created using GlobalSCAPE CuteSITE Builder
This step-by-step tutorial describes steps how you can protect files created using GlobalSCAPE CuteSITE Builder.
- To begin, please launch the Advanced HTML Encrypt and Password Protect and press the "FTP"-button to add files that should be protected.

- Click the "FTP Settings..." menu item to create a record with access data to your FTP server (the server where your site is hosted). Press the "OK" button after you've finished.

- Now press the "FTP" button again and select this time the "Add Files from FTP" menu item. Please press the "Connect" button in the new window and wait a second while the program connects to the server and displays content of your server directory. Now please select files you would like to protect and then press the "Open" button.

- The selected files will be added to the list of files that should be protected. Press the "Next" button after you've finished.

- Now you can adjust the Output options. We recommend you to make backup copies of your files prior to processing. Press the "Next" button after you've finished.

- Now you can adjust the Encryption options to your needs. Press the "Next" button after you've finished.

- If you intend to protect your files with a password please make sure the "Enable password protection" checkbox is checked. Other password protection related options can be also adjusted in this section. Press the "Next" button to go to the next section.

- Please select a layout that should be used for the Login page (this section appears only if you have checked the "Enable password protection" checkbox on the previous page). Press the "Next" button to go to the next section.

- Here you can adjust various protection options. Press the "Next" button to go to the next section.

- Further protection options can be adjusted in this section. This is the final step. Please press the "Start" button to start the processing.

- The files will be protected first and then uploaded to your server. Please point your browser to your site and check the protected files (you can also check the files by pressing the "Test" button). To view the source code of the protected files please press the "View Source" button. Please press the "Finish" button to close the program.
